Birthday Present, Birthdays Past

You will be 16 tomorrow. I always thought a father should have the first dance then. The one that says “you made it!” You will be 16 tomorrow and we have to postpone that dance for a while.
Your brother will be 16 tomorrow. He is under big skies, high on the mountains, thinking about his future dances. I always thought that a father should be there then. He will be 16 tomorrow and we have to postpone being together for a while.
I will not be there with either one of you tomorrow. But hope, in your own way, you will keep an eye on your brother.
